Kitty Parlby
Family Resource Manager
Autism Society of Alberta

I am very pleased to write this letter of reference for Brandon Rudics. My name is Kitty Parlby. I am the
Family Resource Manager for Autism Society Alberta’s Family Resource Centre. I have worked with
Brandon for over 3 ½ years, and have found him to be an excellent member of our staff. His sense of
humour and strong work ethic has made him a well-liked and valued team member.
Brandon’s position with us has been as a Family Resource Coordinator for the Lethbridge region. He is
highly knowledgeable about resources, programs, and funding that pertain to individuals with
disabilities. Brandon treats all clients with compassion and respect. He has also shown a keen interest in
his community through volunteer work.
I find that Brandon is extremely motivated to do his utmost to help families whose children have a
disability. Whether that looks like assisting them to fill out applications, finding applicable programming,
or linking them to peer-to-peer support. It speaks to his character that he is not content to let these
families find him, but continually and creatively finds new ways to connect with people in his city.
He also has very good computer/technical skills, that I came to rely on when projects came up. Brandon
has been open to taking on new duties as our team expands its offerings to the disability community. He
has organized multiple resource/wellness fairs, and has also supported the orientation and training of
new staff in his location.
I believe that anyone considering Brandon for a position within their organization will be impressed with
his down-to-earth manner and commitment to providing high-value service, whatever the job entails. I
wish Brandon all the best in his continuing journey.

Shino Nakane
Provincial Director
Autism Society of Alberta

Brandon Rudics is currently a Family Resource Coordinator and has been with Autism Society
Alberta since June, 2020. Brandon is an invaluable member of our team. His passion geared
towards supporting vulnerable and marginalized individuals is a perfect complement to Autism
Society Alberta’s vision and mission.
Brandon’s capacity to work in the intersections of neurodiversity is exceptionally helpful. He is
always eager to help move the needle forward for vulnerable populations.
Brandon completes tasks meticulously and on time. He is an excellent team player and
collaborates well with others. He also demonstrates excellent oral and written communication
skills.
I am grateful I had the opportunity to work with an individual with tremendous insight,
compassion and integrity.
I believe Brandon would be an asset to any organization.

Chinook Autism Society

Alex Hill
President
Chinook Autism Society

I would gladly recommend Brandon Rudics for an opportunity to be a part of your organization. I first met Brandon at the beginning of 2023 through the Chinook Autism Society and I quickly noted his knowledge with the workings of the society and knowing relatable businesses to help assist individuals within the Southern Alberta region. Other characteristics that Brandon represents is a strong work ethic, friendliness, determination, excellent personal relations skills, and patience to help individuals.

Brandon has been the President of the Chinook Autism Society since 2021 (board member since 2017), and our ASA Family Resource Coordinator since 2020.  During COVID, Brandon worked extremely hard to keep the society together, and if not for his efforts, the society would have folded.

I would almost guarantee that as the Autism Society Alberta Family Resource Coordinator, many families have benefited from his knowledge and help. I have heard of many families that he’s met with that have recently moved from out of Country, Province, Cities and Town’s that had no idea where to start with help for their families, Brandon was able to assist, making them feel reprieve in the chaos that moves do create.

It’s honestly inspiring to find an individual such as Brandon who has helped our community as much as he has. I am completely aware moving from a Director to a President of the society one day, that there will be big shoes to fill as Brandon has done such a fantastic job with his wife alongside. The emotional level that comes with helping special needs families is so rewarding and I feel that you’ve found a great candidate that can help your organization be seen with full potential.
